Knowing the season

tis a good comparison, mark, until we get to the scope of it
the oil "disaster" we will recover from (of course the damage inflicted by this administration in the wake of it will be another story)
the financial disaster is truly of epic proportions that will ruin us
but cheer up bro, it is supposed to fail. it is an ishmael, it is our attempt to produce a godly kingdom on this earth w/out YHWH in charge. the truly righteous kingdom will come in the millennium.
i do not sit idly by and watch it fail, but joyfully fight the slide toward the abyss. knowing that in His timing Yeshua will return and we can start building the real kingdom. these united states are just practice for the real thing and show us that mans fallen nature is just too selfish for democracy to work. that "rule with a rod of iron" thing is the only way that it can work.
the enemy would have us do one of two things;
A) fight like crazy to try to defeat him, or
B) give up in defeat
i intend to cheerfully inflict all of the damage that i can on his plan, knowing that he loses in the end

We are to be 'watchmen on the wall'.
The men of Issachar had "understanding of the times", so that they might "know what to do". (I Chron. 12:32) Let this be true of us as well.
And - BTW - both the 'news' and the Deception continues to literally set new records, whether it's from the Gulf 'oil volcano' or the 'Debt volcano' and the machinations of the 'rich men of the earth' (G-20 in Toronto, currently) to perpetuate the lies. We must remain vigilant, and "come out of her".
