Just reading through the Abstract and the Introduction got my blood boiling: Here is my response:

You don't really believe in full equality for women, unless you believe they ought to be allowed to go topless. You neglected to mention that there are born again Christians who have read their Bibles, who also embrace polygyny. Monogamy is NOT the best way to ensure paternity and joint parental investment in children, not by a long stretch, for it is not true monogamy, when parents can divorce and remarry! Do away with that, and you may have some respectability in your argument. Indeed it was the Greco Roman culture that infiltrated Christianity and perveted it to forbid marriage, which is precisely what monogamy does, for those women who are under reproach (Isaiah 4:1). It is extremely hypocritical to condemn polygyny, which God NEVER condemned in Scripture, while promoting homosexuality, which God clearly forbid, at least for men, to engage in. That is my take on just the first two pages of that piece of garbage you wrote which conflates polygyny with other forms of polygamy, which I have zero interest in defending.

Often when we find ourselves in arguments with individuals on forums such as YouTube comments, they are just parrotting clowns in Academia such as Witte here.
