And the way for you to escape it is given in Isaiah 4:1.I'm not as optimistic, people turn into monsters during destitute times and I can't much blame them, i'd much prefer not to be a part of that for various reasons.
Oh the whole world is a tinder box. China is bankrupt. Europe is bankrupt. The United States is bankrupt. The question to me is will it mean war? I think that's probably how they'll try to fix it.Rumors of a possible coup in China.
Only rumors at this point.
Hitchhikers recognize the reference..@phaedrus I like the new profile pic
Who says that's old school? HahaCould also go old school and declare a Jubilee Year and cancel every debt everywhere in the world.
The bankers won't like it but too bad.
Lol sorry but I'm going with John Denver on this one.And the way for you to escape it is given in Isaiah 4:1.
As someone who travels quite a bit, I should know better than to leave my towel at home. *doh*Hitchhikers recognize the reference..
Who's eschatology?Ah, Narcissistic eschatology. Everything that happens is all about ME in MY lifetime. Lots of clouds pass overhead with never a drop squeezed. It IS however prudent to have a bit of preparation for storms etc. And firearms are lots of entertainment and really cool to show off. Another capable hand in the home is always welcome. A covering for another woman with kiddos is a good thing.
And the eschatology that thinks everything is about the USA. "My country" is as potentially misleading as "my generation".It is the eschatology that essentially sees the events and assumes that it necessarily leads up to MY generation that gets to see the hope personified.

Read article which says that Canada practically doesn't exist as unified state. Canada's provinces have more autonomy that US states. Less people are moving between Canada's provinces than between US states. No internal mobility.I used to be on a Canadian website and what bothered me there was how obsessed they were about the USA. It seemed that most of them identified more as "Not American" than "Canadian". I was more interested in Canada than they were.
