If I were pushing the NWO agenda, I'd make everything converge near the beginning of winter in the northern hemisphere... The goal is population reduction and max chaos. Do it when resources and ability to scramble and plant/grow/hunt is most reduced.

Second, populist revolt is raising. Italy is cooking and ready to explode and other parts of Europe will be joining. But things have started earlier with Ron Paul revolution. Brexit and Trump are populist revolt against ruling class. How long can ruling class keep stealing ever larger amounts before rest of population raises in revolt? You can't psyop population forever against population self-interest (greater wealth, family and culture protection).
Third key reason was figured by Gary North. Falling communication costs. Internet arrived before censorship was ready. Before ruling class lies were better "protected", now they unravel in real time. This means far more people are "red-pilled".
If 9-11 happens today how many will automatically suspect it is inside job? I believe several million inside Americans minimun. And people would do their own open-source investigation. In month or two ruling class would have to answer inconvenience questions. Today it takes 6 months from "don't worry, it is conspiracy theory" to "it is truth".
Not in plans of globalist class, but also in how long it takes for truth to be accepted. Think vaccine efficiency. It didn't take long for "best innovation ever", "can't get covid", "it will at least keep you out of hospital" to "it is useless". In one year.

With time you can train yourself in pattern reccognition and know when elite is lying automatically.

By the way, falling costs also include search engines. It is getting easier to create new search engines, so it becoming harder to hide stuff.
