I believe I see where you're coming from and I agree with you! Every time I look at today's world and look back I can't help but puke up a little in my mouth. The world is very confusing and once you start to understand what people expect you to do in life beyond crazy! Many of you probably wouldn't agree with me with using Charles Darwin as an example. I'm not referring to evolution but the Charles Darwin views of natural selection and how the species who adapts the best survives. More in a metaphoric kind of way. Just looking how all the crazies seem to unite and stand tall; while the various individuals are suffering and what not.

"Whore"... I have been called that many times throughout my life. It is not a pretty term. Some still call me that today because I accept poygyny as a legitimate form of marriage. If I am ever blessed to be a part of a polygynous family then our culture will call me a whore because I may not be the legitimate, legally recognized first wife.

I understand that you did not mean anything by that term DTT... Your heart is in the right place and you are fighting to make sure that we are not victimized by this culture... ;) but I respectfully request that you be cautious when referring to women by that term. I absolutely agree with your point though. Our society is backwards isn't it!

I wish to thank all of you men and women who are fighting the idea that men can have mistresses and casual sexual relationships with no commitment and no responsibility for the women who they treat like sperm depositories. :shock: I also hope that you will consider that the women whom society calls whores, are victims of an immoral culture and cultural biases... before you look at them as dirty and lost, remember that Yeshua died for them and loves them as much as yourselves. Work even harder to make sure that they are given the respect that Christ himself would give them...

(Not that I need to remind you all of this. I just wanted to clarify in case someone who is not a believer comes along and reads this. :D )

Do you think that the playboy bunny women, who have sex with men THEY ARE NOT MARRIED TO for money would follow under the definition of whore or not?

If I was wrong in the use of whore I am absolutely certain I could call them prostitutes.

I do not just call any women whores, I try to treat people respectfully but look up the definition of the word and see if I used it correctly or not. I am not going to change the definition of whore to be politically correct.

What would you call prostitutes who have multiple male partners? Polygyny does NOT allow a women to have multiple male partners at the same time.

So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man.

If no one realizes they are dirty and lost :cry: , how can they be found and made clean? :D

If no one says they are dirty and lost, will they think they are? :? If they do not think they are will they try to get better? :oops:

I apologize. I did not mean to write anything divisive ...

We are a group of believers who are supporting an idea that most of the Western world believes to be oppressive and degrading for women, and which is oppressive and degrading for women in most other cultures throughout history. Using words like "whores" is not wise and does not support our cause to promote Christian Polygyny. I would simply suggest caution when posting to a public forum.

This is a beautiful and exciting new movement that has the potential to cause great happenings within the Church! Lets keep it on track by making sure that women are protected and respected!

May I remind you that if you have a young pregnant lady in the kitchen and barefoot, that you as her protector should tell her to put some shoes on DoM. Pregnant ladies have a tendency to be a little awkward and can easily be clumsy. We wouldn't want a kitchen accident. Protect her and you darn well had better respect her if she is working in the kitchen while pregnant! You can bet your behind that she is tired and her back aches and she probably has to pee!!!

Good heavens how am I ever going to keep all of you men in line! :shock:

yup, and one old definition of an expert is a person more than 100 miles away from home (no one there knows that you are really the village idiot in your hometown!)
so it is not hard for us to qualify as an expert under that criteria :lol:

Got it in order to become a better goodthinker :| eliminate the word whore from my vocabulary.

What word can I then use to explain a woman who has a lot of sex with different men see is not married to out of her own free will on a regular basis? Or is it better if I pretend such women do not exist at all? Or perhaps say that they are not doing anything bad, but merely spending a lot of time being ungood.

I am not saying this as a sarcastic comeback but if I eliminate the word whore from my vocabulary how is it possible to talk about whores and why they should not whore. It is kind of like having a campaign against drugs in order to help people stop using drugs in which you cannot name any drugs, nor refer to people as drug addicts, druggies, drug users, or drug dealers, etc. This whole thing does not make sense to me.

Whore is used at least 65 times in the King James Bible as a word or as part of a word. Must we then destroy the King James Bible, so that no one reads that word?
