• Biblical Families is not a dating website. It is a forum to discuss issues relating to marriage and the Bible, and to offer guidance and support, not to find a wife. Click here for more information.

ChristianForums

Read the rules. They are very clear and don't ban discussion of polygamy at all. They ban promotion of homosexuality, but don't mention polygamy anywhere. Marriage is defined as heterosexual but not necessarily monogamous.

From the rules, it is clear they ban the promotion of adultery. From the discussion, it is clear they regard polygamy as adultery. Thus, a defense of polygamy is promotion of adultery, and against the rules.

Furthermore, they also ban the promotion of illegal activities, and thus polygamy can be banned to that reason separately.

@FollowingHim do you have access to incoming referrers, such that the mods/admins at CF could have traced us back here, having clicked on the link above?
No, not within the xenforo forum software. It is possible that they might be using a different system to track that, but highly unlikely that they'd join those dots. I still put it down to an emotive moderator.

It is possible for someone like that to read this into their rules, or just assume such posters need banning even if not explicitly outlined there.

"Only one account per person is allowed."
I suppose they might think that all four posts were from the same person, just using different IP addresses and usernames.
There was also that one guy from Thailand saying he was poly. I am not sure if Daybreak7, you, and I would be considered as supporting polygamy, but that guy sure would be. Does anyone know anyone from Thailand? I suppose we have many lurking who don't post.

I think that in the future it might be good for us to coordinate in these matters so only one of us posts, and it not end up looking like some sort of spam attack.

I agree, a collaborative effort is definitely good, yet the more the better, of course nothing wrong with supporting the truth in a joint effort.

Sure, we all know here if a woman had more than 1 husband is adultry, but I don't think any of us were supporting or would support that. They must not understand the meaning of adultry on Christian Forum.....sad the rhetoric continues.

Use a VPN that could place the origin of your message in a more politically acceptable culture/country?

This could be what “the guy from Thailand “ is doing?

Where is these posts you guys are referring to from 4 members? I dont see all of the ones that were there the other day, must have been deleted?

I had opened another ticket to respond to the reasons i was banned and mid sentence the page refreshed and the ticket is gone and the option to open a new ticket is no longer visible.

Par for the course for modern Christians...ever quick to call good evil and evil good.

And then they wonder why men don't want to get married.

Actually they don't; that's just another excuse to condemn someone for something.

Well, let's see if my response disappears in a blaze of glory:

"I was reading this thread the other day and was interested to see some of the debate and wanted to engage with some of the responses, but it looks like they have all been deleted...
The one I found most interesting was the language discussion that explored that verse you keep referencing (1 Corinthians 7:2). That has also been deleted? Are we censoring the Word of God now when we don't have an appropriate response?
I would much rather hear your response to the idea that "own" husband and "own" wife are two different words with different implications...
How can I respond to such arguments the polygamists make? Was the OP lying about that?"

Matthew 7 is it? Wide is the gate broad the road that leads to destruction, many find it.... small the gate and small the road that leads to life, few find it. Coming. more and more clear as time progresses. The modern church is afraid of the truth of Gods word when it contradicts their ideology so they avoid and suppress it..... what was it Jesus said about any one who is ashamed of him?
