What are people's views on age gaps?

Personally, well, I am in my late 50s, and would love to have a young lady who would like some children, so she must be of legal age, at the very least, but 20s or 30s if YaHWeH opens that door, great; if not, great either way great. I have a friend with 3 wives. When he was 53, he married an 18-year-old. I asked him what are the pros and cons of marrying one so young? He said, "Only one con," he said, "at first I sometimes felt like a parent, not all the time, just sometimes." She's well into her 20s now. If you are an "old guy," make sure it's YaHWeH's will. Don't let the little guy lead.;)

We generally feel like this is a non Mormon community. If I were Mormon, all I would have to do, is join an FLDS branch, and perhaps there would be no threat of expulsion. Well, maybe. I mean, there are those "Lost Boys". Also, I suppose if you are waiting for them to turn 20, you might have problems in the FLDS, unless of course you happen to become the leader.
Yeah, but I didn't bring it up in this thread. Someone else did simply because I replied stating how I feel about age gaps... it has nothing to do with this thread at all and was just a jab at me.

Not a jab, just fair warning to anyone who might be unsuspecting.
