Welcome to the Biblical Families forum!
The mission of Biblical Families is to support and encourage all families; to teach what the Bible has to say about marriage and family and the God-given roles of men, women, and children, without bowing to tradition; and to support local groups—both existing fellowships that may come to accept this truth and those who are starting from scratch, perhaps with just their own family.
This forum is divided into two main sections: Family Life, and Deeper Discussion
If you're new, here, start in the Family Life section.
Post in the Introductions section to say hello. Or, if you're facing a serious problem and need advice, post it in Help!
Share your Prayer requests with us, or arrange to meet people in real life.
And check out our personalised areas for Men, Women and under-25s.
Family Life is our "Community" section. Please keep conversations polite and welcoming. If someone is in serious error (theologically or otherwise), feel free to point it out, but please do so politely. If a deep and detailed discussion is required, take it over to the Deeper Discussion section.
In the Deeper Discussion section, you'll find very solid hammering out of a wide range of doctrinal issues. This is where "iron sharpens iron". If you seek to understand Biblical truth, you'll find it here. If you post in this area, and others disagree with your perspective, they may pull it apart in great detail in a careful search for truth. If you find this uncomfortable, stay in Family Life. But if you want to understand the Bible better than ever before, dive in!
If you want to keep an eye on the new posts from some sections, but not others, in every forum section there is a little button "Watch Forum" at the top right of the page. And, every thread has a "Watch Thread" button also. Select these for any forums or threads you wish to keep an eye on, and new posts will be listed in the "Watched Forums" and "Watched Threads" links at the top of the page.
Ladies: There is a weekly live Ladies Chat which you are welcome to join, click here for more information.
