We work at a hospital and what we do falls under essential.

It's the roar at present, lots of people want to be off shooting deer. I don't think it's actually forbidden, there are strong advisories against it though and the huts people would stay in are all closed.

But I do have 3 sheep to kill sometime in the next few days! It's also the time of year to cull old ewes before winter. Also, the major market for mutton is China, as Western countries want to buy young lambs, so the price of cull ewes has sadly crashed, worst prices for many years. No market. But it does mean we won't run out of meat in a hurry.
We desperately want lamb for Pesach... nobody here wants to seven do prepaid special order... normally we just pick up in meat dept the week before Passover when we are in the US... even easier in Israel...

Sigh...

I'll settle for mutton if you can ship it to me.. lol

I suppose mutton jerky might survive the time in the post, but I've never made it before and I don't know if your customs would allow it! Probably best to just say sorry, can't help. Could send you a photo of a dead sheep though. o_O

If all else fails just get you some good grass fed beef,
He did turn water into wine.

Of course, He could do it with an oatmeal patty.
But I wouldn’t push it

I’m going to get a lamb on the 10th, do you want to come get one?

@steve there may not have been enough options on your poll. It's too early for us to say on longer term losing or maintaining, but because of high quality work and always making the customer happy this business has been growing steady on referal work. We anticipated our best and busiest year ever (second truck arriving to accommodate two crews) and that might happen in spite of the virus. We just have to see how it goes. :) If not that truck will be useful here "training our crew" as they remove our huge trees. :p

So, it finally happened. My wife informed me yesterday that, after Friday, her boss is closing her store. She said they arent making enough money to cover payroll, and its costing him more to keep it open right now. So, I will be goin back out as a travel CNA to help supplement her loss of income. It's a rather stressful time.

Praying that Yah’s will be done in the lives of those with reduced income at this time.

Yes it is, you are in my prayers. Take a deep breath we are in for an interesting ride.

We are in an odd situation where we live with minimal incoming or outgoing money, which insulates us a bit from the financial impact of this. Little changes for us in the short term. If it goes on for a long time it could have an effect on business revenue.

There's nothing in the law that I've seen that would say you're not allowed to do that. There are still cars on the roads, just drive there and nobody will notice even if they did have a problem with it.
Though Sarah just told me hunting is supposedly banned - which makes no sense whatsoever. So the rules are a bit nonsensical.
Don’t think we or anybody is going anywhere during this lockdown period
The Lockdown is now reasonably firm, stay in your neighbourhood is the message
If you get the wrong officer the story you get is “stay in your home only come out for food”
Police have more powers now and can enter your house without a warrant looking for “ gatherings”etc
All at the discretion of the police ,
In short we are at the moment a police state for as long as this lasts
I don’t disagree at this point
But.....
I’m a little worried about the long term issue with police power and the reach of the government
The need for extended search powers seems a bit over the top
Our government has a knee jerk reaction to most things , the long term implications are not well thought through.
Prime minister Puts on a face of love and kindness but only if you agree and do what you are told
These are strange times
The world could be very different at the end of this

I think the chance to go to the holiday home has bolted, it would have been ok before Wednesday and they'd have been lenient until Friday, but I agree now you could get in trouble.

I was not aware of that.

Completely agree. The legal reaction to the mosque shooting showed the level of this government's overreactive foolishness, and willingness to exploit any tragedy as an excuse to advance pre-existing agendas. This lockdown is understandable and manageable, but the long term is where the concerns lie. And unfortunately most people don't see through the prime minister's nice facade, and she really shines at public relations during events like this, so she's almost certain to get back in with an overwhelming majority next election as a result of her role as the nice caring face of government during this time.

Both of us are essential. Though my job has noticed a drop is sales and the store employees are getting their hours cut.
