My husband has given me permission to have a little fun with you all. He's going to let us 'come out' :D , and we will tell you who we really are, but first, I am curious to know what YOU think our names are  . I will give you a clue, they both begin with the same letter and they are both biblical (because we are so holy  ).

And perhaps some of you may have guessed where in New Zealand we're from?

No cheating, if you already know our real names then keep quiet!

Oh boy, this could be fun! There are so many choices, I'll not bother with the 'obvious' combinations, so here goes my guess:

He is "Maher-shalal-Hash-Baz"

She is "Mehetabel"

8-)

Not quite! :D

But those are awesomely obscure names, I'm very impressed, had to look them up. We do have a baby due in November, what do you think of Mahershalelhashbaz if it's a boy dear?

But no-one in your family has that name dear :D

I think a boy should be named after the main character in "District 9" ( forgive the spelling ) Wiekus Van De Merwe.

Hey, just about anything is better than what Frank Zappa named his kids!

Yeah. Mazel ... that! Congratulations. Again.

Ummm. Haran & Hepzibah. They SOUND Biblical, anyway. Though I gotta take my hat off to Matthew.

Gideon & Gomer

Nebuchadnezzar & Nephertiti

James and Jochabed

Getting warm?

They are not that obscure!

My parents were not Christian (Im actually the only Christian in my whole extended family) so I was named a common but biblical name. My mother did not care at all that it happened to also be from the bible but I am very happy that it is.

And we have a winner!

Samuel and Sarah

Congratulations Mark! Since you know us so well you have won the opportunity to find Samuel another wife

The next time I meet a woman who says "I've heard of this great guy called Mark C, I'd really like to marry him, how do I contact him?" I'll be sure to put you in touch!

There was also a "part 2" to Sarah's game: what part of NZ do they live in? Um... I'm guessing Christ Church. (although I think you folks may have mentioned it in another post awhile back). ;)

Not quite. We are very close though. We live in Canterbury which is the area Christchurch is in too, but couldn't live in a city (it'd drive Samuel mad and me depressed) so we live in the country. We've had a few earthquakes here lately although I don't know how much has filtered through to your news. Things seem to have died down at the moment. I hope it stays that way for a while now.

I got a Facebook request the other day (happens a lot) and just now figured out who it was from. Wonderful family pics, good to put a face to my BF friends.

Why thankyou, I always thought I was good looking, and I selected a beautiful wife in order to breed equally handsome children, because breeding with a beautiful wife is quite enjoyable you know.
