Tats!!!

i have heard that tats can be erased by re-tatooing the area with peroxide.

I have quite a few. In the part of the world I am from it is typically not seen as a bad thing, even in church. As long as they are in good taste (not hateful or espousing any ill will) I am not offended by them in the slightest.

I was taught that the scripture forbids the type of marking, cutting and branding that was done as worship to other gods. One of the gentlemen who hellped translate the Dead Sea Scrolls with Hebrew Union college (wave nunnelly) taught me this. I was blessed to have such resources when I was younger. I have 2 tattoos (and plan on a couple more) Because of the society we live in, they are hidden when I am clothed in business attire. One is on my right shoulder. It is a symbol of a fellowship I was a part of. The other is a celtic cross. It is Celtic do to my bloodline. It is on my back, going from mid back to the base of my neck. I wanted an indelible symbol that I am God's child.

Surprised that Isaiah 49:14–21 wasn't discussed yet: http://fervr.net/bible/gods-tattoo

No tats here - but I could probably be convinced to get one if an idea for a tattoo repeatedly came to me ;-)
Thank you for pointing that out :-)
