As of 3/31/18, google has deprecated their reCaptcha v1, which was brought to my attention this morning by a would-be user that couldn't join the forum because the reCaptcha on the signup form wouldn't work. The situation is under control now (I upgraded the forum reCaptcha to v2), and I just wanted to put this up in case there's anyone else out there that's tried to sign up in the past 48 hours or so (our most recent new member joined Monday, 4/2, so I guess google didn't formally shut 'er down until after that). Please come back and try again!
