This is my opinion about reading and posting in the gender specific posts. We would be silly to think that an "honor" system would keep us honest. It is pure curiosity to see what the other side thinks about and talks about. So I hope that everyone understands that as they are posting. We don't need to name names and be specific to talk about our concerns. The part I would like to see is that if someone reads something offensive in a gender specific board, they need realize that they shouldn't have been reading it if they are easily offended.
I admit I have read the men's topics. It gives me some insight into what goes on in their minds. I know that men read the women's postings.
I know that dapastor posted there, but only as a board announcement that he put in all the sections. I don't think it is appropriate for men to participate in women's conversations. I don't think it is appropriate for women to get into men's discussions. But I think that as grown ups we can all forgive and let live. I didn't realize until just yesterday that I could go to "active topics" and go to any topic without realizing that it was a gender specific board.
Anyway, I think that for the most part, people are respectful of other's privacy.
