HRM Queen Elizabeth II has died. My sincere condolences to our members from the Commonwealth.

BALMORAL, Scotland, Sept 8 (Reuters) - Queen Elizabeth, Britain's longest-reigning monarch and the nation's figurehead for seven decades, died at her home in Scotland aged 96 on Thursday.

"The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon," Buckingham Palace said in a statement. "The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow."

Elizabeth's eldest son Charles, 73, automatically becomes king of the United Kingdom and the head of state of 14 other realms including Australia, Canada and New Zealand. His wife Camilla becomes Queen Consort.

Absolutely gutted this morning. I knew it was coming, but still...
She had responsibilities and a role I cannot fathom, and she did her job with grace. She was an incredible woman.

And now we have King Charles. A man with very concerning ideas. I do not hold out much hope with him in charge. However, the news this morning was saying that back in 2018 the commonwealth countries all came together to vote on who would succeed the Queen, and one of the options was to have a voted in leader from the various commonwealth countries. NZ voted to have Charles replace her and that was the decided upon option because other countries didn't make a decision in time. When we have the option of Charles, or someone that is voted in by the commonwealth, I want Charles.

I feel very unsettled today. I feel like this will open a door, and it's not a good one.

I offer my condolences to her family and former subjects. She was one of the most significant world leaders of our lifetimes. Ninety-six years, with seventy on the throne is most impressive.

Praise be to God that there is One Monarch who's reign will never end, One true King who drank the bitter cup of death in our place. All other lesser monarchs eventually pass away.

As my wife said, "Charles is king. That fits with the demise of nations which once were powerful."

Condolences to the family and the Commonwealth.

King Charles has long been a suspect in the prophetic solution mill... It will be interesting to see what transpires, particularly when he claims descent from David and Solomon...

I didn't want to say anything negative yesterday out of respect for the deceased, the family, and the subjects of the British crown.

Now, my one day of respect has passed, and my negative comments will appear.

I'm open to theories of conspiracy (especially since they almost all came true over the last couple years ☺️).

The British royal family is certainly deeply connected with the rich and powerful in this world. The royal family ranks up there with the Vatican, the CIA, the Rothschild's, and the Masonic order, in terms of global cabal conspiracy stuff. I suspect them of playing an important role in the great satanic conspiracy.

Prince Philip is on record of having said some really horrific things about humanity, and wanting huge numbers of people to die. I think he was a deeply evil man.

Prince Andrew was apparently involved in the sexual trafficking of underage girls. That's pretty dark, but I suspect the family has much darker skeletons in their closets.

King Charles is now head of the Anglican church, but I'm pretty confident that he isn't even a Christian. A few years ago, he was talking about wanting to be called "defender of faith" rather than "defender of the Faith". Any proper believer knows there is only one true Faith to defend (though we might also defend the religious liberties of others).

Elizabeth was a modern monarch, and Charles promises to be a postmodern one.

Also, I agree with John Knox that female monarchs are unnatural.

Whilst I agree with John Knox, I’m guessing that Charles is worse.

Biden and Charles, a matching set of bookends.

This is Queen Elizabeth's final Christmas broadcast, which is worth watching. There are many points that we would all disagree with, this is in part a tribute to her late husband, who championed causes that are questionable - and her own views were undoubtably by no means perfect. And she is talking as the monarch of many countries, with widely varying faiths.

But she manages to take two inspirations - the death of a loved one, and Christmas itself - and bring it all back to Jesus. Not in a way that is overt enough to cause offence to her atheistic & Muslim subjects, but gently, in a way that demonstrates that faith in Him was truly part of her own life, and that may cause somebody somewhere to look into Him more. It's not a Christian sermon by any stretch of the imagination, it's a call to unity and peace - yet it still comes back to Jesus as the fundamental inspiration for that call.

There will never again be a Christmas speech like the ones she delivered. We will no longer have gentle Christian evangelism from the head of the Commonwealth, broadcast to the world. So watch the end of an era.
