It's basically a take on what I've always said: in the big picture, women benefit more then men from polygamy.
Like this quote: "Something that we previously thought was quite bizarre and morally wrong, like polygyny, begins to look quite natural and common."

Hey now! I'm not too sure about that article. It said that only the desirable men get the women. What does that say about single guys like me? I know I'm cute. My momma said so. lol, jk.

I do agree with it though. Plural marriage is much more beneficial. Women don't have to accept what's "left over", but rather can find a decent man who'll treat them right. Oh and and according to the census the older people get, the less men there are for women to marry. So in a monogamous only society many women are left without ANY man to choose from let alone the losers.

Something interesting I just noticed about the article today is that it uses the word "polygyny" instead of "polygamy". How about that for someone getting it right for once?

Todd, I feel for you on the lack of girls thing. Though, you are in the USA, so at least you have a lot of Christian girls in your country... some of which could be good wives with only medium amounts of knocking sense into their heads. Lets talk. Depending on where you are, I may be able to refer you to some good ones. God knows I've scoured the earth. Most have a problem with leaving their family or country... or the issue of being trapped in the world of studies. All the good ones seem to waste their good years there. Anyway, we should talk.
