One more effort!

Very positive post. We should keep on trying. Sometimes each attempt at something can be altered in just a little way that sometimes turns the key. But of course with God is the main thing.

I LOVE the positive message in this post, thank you so much for posting it! This makes me think of our family situation, I had struggled through 4 miscarriages and really felt last year that I just wanted to give up when it came to having a child of our own. I just felt that I couldn't endure any more pain. Prayer, positive scripture and a very special talk with my Godmother who had had the same issues 30+ years ago convinced me to keep believing and try again.. I am so happy to say that I am now 7 months pregnant with our first little one. I thank God everyday that he did not allow me to give up on my dreams of being a mother. A passage that got me through those times when I had a lot of doubt in the future was:

'So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.' 2 Corinthians 4:18

What a beautiful message from God never to lose faith in the future He has for us!!!

Reading this post brought an immediate picture to my mind's eye. In my part of Arizona, we have many small mountains. I have enjoyed climbing some of them. As I start the slope it is easy and pleasant, but the further I climb the more difficult it becomes. I am wearied because of the trail already traversed and now every step increases in altitude. The peak is in sight, but it is harder to finish the last mile. As I take the last few steps and behold the vast horizon of the desert from the summit, the exultation from the view before me, makes the weariness of the climb seem as nothing. How sad it is that there have been times when I did not give that last measure of effort to make it to the top. Missing out on the view was a disappointment that lasted for days. Pretty Tulips, your post encourages me to keep making the effort to climb to the goal. The blessing of the view from the top will be worth it, in so many areas of life,
Thanks, John
