Last weekend one of my sons (13 year old) went and stayed over at a new schoolfriend's house. ylopsonlywife drove over to pick up our son, and it turns out the family he stayed with is from Texas.
And what is the first thing they say when meeting ylopsonlywife:
"We are so excited that your son does shooting...in Australia people think guns are bad but your family shoots"
and the second thing..."and you have lots of children, hardly anyone here has lots of children".
