I made my bed this morning.

Yep, and it was a good one.
But what if my wife is still in the bed, when I head out to conquer the world every morning?
I have swam with sharks and I have set through muddy pits of life. But whatever this life has thrown at me there is One that has never left me alone. Though at times I felt sooo alone, He was always that small still Voice. “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.” Endure to the end. We are God’s sheep, roaring as lions His Word of Truth.” That is the song we sing . . . forever.
Good message! I make our bed every morning. I love our room being neat and tidy by the time we're ready to relax in the evening. 
Just tuck her right in there.
I think I read this post before retreat but just didn't have time to respond. I had to laugh as I read it and then have had your comment cross my mind several times since reading it. I enjoy getting a different angle on something. You definitely presented one, and it's real. So hmmmm--cnystrom had a good comeback! I'd say, make your side up nice, neat, and tidy, walk around to hers and give her a gentle smooch that won't wake her up, and head out to make your conquest. Chances are she'll smile when she sees your side already made up and may vaguely remember the kiss. You're the winner on all accounts. Carry on soldier!
