Not really one for introductions but here goes. I'm a loving husband and father to one wife and one daughter. My father was a fire and brimstone Christian, I naturally follow his example, I believe we're meant to live our lives as those of the bible did. Not to say I'm going to torch my television LOL! Hopefully this forum has the people I'm looking for, I have plenty of questions to ask and knowledge to share. I look forward to meeting all of you!

I almost never welcome anyone, but welcome! You'll find a lot of carefully considered and rigorously hashed out opinions here, and quite a bit of wisdom to be found here. I hope you are enriched by it!
Thank you very much! I know this isn't a dating app but I was curious how this community goes about matchmaking. Is there any website I can get into contact with? Group? Retreat outing?
Sorry, I actually don't know where the matchmaking department is around here. I found a door that had the sign up, but it was only being used as a janitor's closet. If you happen to find it you should let me know where it is!

Biblical families is definitely not a matchmaking or dating service.
I can appreciate your concern for your daughter and no doubt you are like many of the fathers here that are personally looking for a good man to introduce their own daughter to.
People do meet others here for friendship, fellowship and on rare occasion for family. However Biblical Families is not now nor is it probable in the future to be a facilitator for arranging marriage.
Again, I understand this is not a matchmaking site. I'm only asking where others have gone to find someone to introduce their daughter to. Maybe a church barbeque? A literal matchmakers? I'm only asking advice, not actively searching. Apologies for any confusion I may have started
I personally have kind of a holistic approach. I pray that God will send and reveal suitable spouses for my children and keep my eyes open for His answer. Which is more or less how I try to do everything, (which is in turn more or less lifted from Henry Blackaby's Experiencing God teaching).
My opinion on this is provably not the only one to be found on this site, but my view is best summed up by saying "The Lord is my Shepherd, He leads me beside still waters and makes me to lay down in green pastures" An actual matchmaker or a church barbecue might be green and still, but unless it is exactly where the Lord has personally led you, you won't find what you're looking for.
This might seem like a 'n0-answer' answer, but it's one that I hold with sincerity.

This pretty much describes the outlook hubby and I have. We are living proof that God can bring people together. We met in an unlikely place and way when we were ready to marry. That is not at all to take away from the blessing it is to fellowship with like minded believers.

Welcome! I don't know of any matchmaker sites, but I would say the best idea is to pray and keep your mind open to the man that He has planned for your daughter. It might be someone you've never thought of.
