Learning From Life

I don't know about everyone else. But I love to learn about different people and how they live their lives in the world. Religion is a main factor in a lot of these cultures. Even seeing how Christianity is practiced differently around the world. I just love being able in this day and age to have a chance to reach out my hand, show respect to someone different and learn about their culture. I strive to "Seek truth from facts" in my life. It's surprising what you learn from others. Jews and Muslims and how they see the world. I leaned much from all three faiths (Judaism, Christianity and Islam). The likeness and differences. I also love to learn the history from the point of view from woman from all throughout the world though different time periods of history. I feel like everyday I learn so much about the past and how people came to be in the current world. Hopefully I'm not the only one interested in all this. What do you guys think?

yes, i seek truth also and find kernels and nuggets in history and other cultures. especially judaism

I understand what you're saying, I do study a lot of history myself, though I don't get into Islamic culture that much (yet anyway)

I SO agree with this, I really love learning about other people and how they do things, at the moment I am reading some writings by a medieval woman and just reading about her notions and her philosophy.

It is the same with travelling, I love to travel because you meet such interesting people, they all have stories to tell.

:D

That's great! There is nothing better then traveling the world.

Yeah, what better way to start is right now. :)

When it becomes more pertinent than the 4 volumes I have on hand to yet study and the 3 volumes and sundry books I have on my to order list. Plenty of better times to start than right now :)
