Kill Bill

I absolutely loved the way they ended it! I love the way Bill was overcome with the love of the Lord while in his last sermon to his congregation. It showed the Lord planting a seed in one to move many. Even in Bill's death the word of the Lord and this particular subject matter of polygamy will move forward because of Bill's stance on the word of God.

I think Margie going off to do God's work was also a step in the right direction. Showing that the story of this marriage was not just about polygamy, but also the true word of God. Missions is just as important. It also showed that as a wife or husband, we can fall or have obstacles, but the love of God is great and can quiet our hearts to see what is really important. What a wonderful show! Or, in my opinion anyway. :D

Loved the ending...HATED seeing it go! I have been a fan since day one and have the entire previous seasons on DVD. I am also a big Sister Wives fan, I do so love seeing plural marraige in main stream America and not shoved off in the corner like something that doesn't exist. I pray for the Brown family on Sister Wives, they took a big step and life I am sure has not been easy for them. BL was a great series, Bill took a stand for his belief's just as we all should:)

You already know my thoughts, lol. I was mad, lol.

I wish they could have carried on even with Bill dying, they could have written him in like they did Roman....so so sad:(

I watched the first two seasons on DVD and no others. Did they continue to advocate "the principle" as motivation for plural marriage? Did they continue as some branch of LDS religion?

In the end Bill wanted to try to force the LDS church into recognizing PM and it was based on the principle. He went to his own church on Easter Sunday after he had stood up in the state senate announcing a bill that he wanted to put into motion regarding PM and apparently word had spread out to Juniper Creek as well as other areas what he had done and his church was packed, overflowing outside. He died after being shot by a neighbor, but before he died he asked Barb for a blessing. There has been tension between Barb and Bill this whole season regarding the priesthood and the fact that the LDS church nor Bill's church would allow women to hold the priesthood. He asked her for the blessing and after he died it showed him a year later sitting at the head of the table while his wive's hugged as Margene went off on a mission trip..non LDS. The writers of the show said they wanted to show that Bill fully believed that he would be with his wives for eternity. I have to admit I am a big fan of the show...some of it has been plain crazy...other parts a good story line.
