Hmm this one is a little hard for me. I like the Poldark show and books but there is so much drama always going on that I don't think I would want that. So I think I would pick Call the Midwife. I've only seen season 1 and a couple episodes of season 2 so far but I like the characters and would enjoy being Chummy's friend. :)

I don't have one, or at least not one that I've seen yet. In order for TV shows to keep going they require drama, and it's not so bad watching it on tele, but if I had to live it I would hate it. In real life I can't stand drama, and I try to avoid or fix it if at all possible. It drives me mental watching people with so much drama in their lives when they're creating it for themselves and could stop it very easily but won't. Their decision, but I can't keep up with it.

Maybe I'm thinking about this too hard or too cynically, lol.

Maybe I could be an outskirt character in The Little House On The Prairie. Someone who is around and just living their life and going to church but who is never involved in the drama or action.

I would love to be in a baking challenge show. I mean not in real life cause I’m not photogenic, and I sound silly on video and can’t ever seem to say the right things and the stress would be super high and I’m not ok with that. Hahaha But, the idea of being in a baking contest sounds fun.

This one's easy for me:
1. Gilligans Island
2. Partridge Family
3. Bewitched
4. Brady Bunch
5. I dream of Jeannie
Then there's Love Boat, Fantasy Island, Star Trek, the Waltons (G'Nite John Boy... G'nite 'Lizbeth) Lassie, Flipper, the Carol Burnett Show...last but not least Bugs Bunny and Road Runner. :-)

I love your taste in tv! Wish I could like this post over and over.

I at first thought of Gilligan's Island because a week of relaxation in that setting sounded like a great vacation. But I'd probably miss my kids. Brady Bunch seemed a bit idyllic in that there was really very little conflict in the family and they all had Alice! If I could create a hybrid show where Alice does the cooking and cleaning and I can live with my family on Gilligans Island I might lose track of time and stay more then a week!

Firefly is a cool show, but I like peace and a place to grow roots, not the conflict of living where evil ambitions are trying to dominate and rule. That's too real to be a good escape from reality.

I might like something more modern....but since I haven't watched tv in almost 19 years I wouldn't know! ;)

I liked watching my three sons and leave it to beaver too.... and Hoagans Heros... .Sgt Schultz was too funny!

I actually would do better in something such as Little House on the Prairie
I used to describe our lifestyle as "A bit like little house on the prairie but with modern conveniences."
I really hate what passes for normal in this modern mess....but I'm glad I can ride or drive a horse for pleasure instead of having to use one to go to town. Not complaining about the time I live in....exactly.
