Mine would be for the week ahead, I have meeting with different ladies almost every day this week, and for the right words to say in whatever the conversations bring. Is there anything you would like prayer for?
For my protection as I started a new job about 6 weeks ago. These past few weeks have been nothing but schooling “academy”. Wednesday is my first day as a full fledged correctional officer, working with the inmates. I work in one of the most dangerous male prisons in the state. I’m one of the few females that work there plus I’m rather small compared to most of the inmates. I’m not afraid or scared by any means (I might be a bit crazy, but I guess I’d have to be to work in a place where there is 1 CO to 200 inmates, with out a weapon), but I do understand that at all times my life is in danger and that any given moment one of those men could hurt me.
That I wouldn't feel so overwhelmed all the time, and I'd have more focus.
Good health, and strength to persevere through the school year. We have a 12th and a 9th grader this year!!! I’m excited and sad!
