Do you remember Trump lowering tax rate in his first term?

That made many many Eurocrats sad because he forced them to give up tax raising plan. Instead, they had to lower them.

If Newsom wins elections, he will send subsidies again to EU. Not officially, off course. Easiest way is to lower tariffs. So EU can use tariffs and non-tariffs barriers, while US can't. And lower demand for EU contributions for NATO budget.
