Why not standard therapist? Or specialist?Hello. I'm looking for someone I can talk to help me work through something. It is sexual trauma related. Though I was the victim, I don't know how to feel about it. I'm in no way wanting to seek anything legal. I just need some help.
Honestly, it's very sensitive. I don't have spare money for more therapy. Lol. The VA only covers so much also. I need someone Christian also. Why not standard therapist? Or specialist?
At least you should get recommendation.
I did some some experiences I would consider traumatic.Honestly, it's very sensitive. I don't have spare money for more therapy. Lol. The VA only covers so much also. I need someone Christian also.
There is a massive difference in help and council from a Christian and a non Christian. You need someone with faith, and someone who understands the spiritual world, because it's all related.I don't why helper needs to be Christian. You can always talk with pastor from nearby place.
If you are already diagnosed with a mental health issue, it shouldn't be too difficult to get in or ask for a community provider if the time lag is too much. They ask about sexual trauma at each annual physical. The VA only covers so much also.
Only if he has "spiritual senses". Otherwise, I don't see point. There is a massive difference in help and council from a Christian and a non Christian. You need someone with faith, and someone who understands the spiritual world, because it's all related.
He absolutely does not. He has a sensitive situation that he's asked for someone to talk to about. He does not need to tell a bunch of strangers on the internet all the details.Only if he has "spiritual senses". Otherwise, I don't see point.
@RuppertB needs to say way more. Why is he asking us instead of doing Google, Bing, Brave whatever search?
That’s funny, he could end up with an AI program.@RuppertB needs to say way more. Why is he asking us instead of doing Google, Bing, Brave whatever search?
I have removed the new user restrictions on @RuppertB's account, so you should be able to start a private conversation and send it to him yourself - tell me if it doesn't work. That’s funny, he could end up with an AI program.
@FollowingHim please send him my phone number, unless someone else is available.

Off course not Christian. Again, as explained in post number one thing is understanding how mind works which requires no religious background."Ex Indian Monk?" If this guy is a Christian, O.K., maybe. Most Pastors are trained counselors. You probably have someone close.
Depends entirely whether the problem is completely physical or somewhat spiritual. Just forget I said anything. Without knowing anything it is impossible to make a good call.Off course not Christian. If you have cancer does it matter is your doctor Christian or Hindu? Or what trully matters is how good in healing he is?
I consider any reduction of symptoms victory. Fixing cause isn't important in short term. Giving hope is more important.Depends entirely whether the problem is completely physical or somewhat spiritual.
It's OK.Just forget I said anything.
Yes, we know practically nothing.Without knowing anything it is impossible to make a good call.

In worst case we are dealing with depressive or suicidal person who has already tried 10+ "solutions" whose effect was nil. He needs quick win.
