Hole Eek Ow!

CAUTION: irreverent controversy alert!

Based on breaking news, I posted the following today on my OK Cupid profile page and thought that some of you might be able to appreciate it.

"OK, I think I've reached the end of my ability to tolerate the expectation that we all knuckle under to one increasing level of misguided political correctness after another. This may get me kicked off OK Cupid, but I'm ready for that. OKC, airbnb and other online organizations have recently been asking their users to comply with what amount to loyalty oaths, mostly along the lines of promising not to 'discriminate' (one of the most vaguely-defined terms ever) against people of alternative genders, sexual orientations, identifications, etc. -- including on this site agreeing to ensure that such discrimination will not affect our dating choices.

"Today, I heard a news story about a report from a major LGBTQ group that has determined (for the rest of us, of course) that we are no longer to idly sit by and let body parts sustain names that were given them by dead white men. So, going forward, we're all to start calling them something different (watch out, because this means a new loyalty oath is on its way, and if you think I'm kidding, just check out the prosecutions and lawsuits going on around the nation of people who have supposedly gravely damaged another human being by referring to hir with a gender pronoun with which s/he doesn't identify): the vagina will now be referred to as 'the front hole;' the anus will now be referred to as 'the back hole;' and the mouth will now be referred to as 'the upper hole.'

"No way am I going to give in to what amounts to evidence that a significant portion of our culture has literally embraced insanity. Even besides the assault that it would represent on free speech (guaranteed by our 1st Amendment to the U.S. Constitution), something perhaps even more insidious is occurring here.

"One of the opening salvos of the scourge known as feminism was the declaration that women were being treated as sex objects; could there be anything more sexually objectifying than renaming precious body parts that just happen to have among their uses sexual potential 'this hole', 'that hole' and 'the other hole'?

"Moreover, I see this as potential evidence that a blatantly cynical effort is being perpetrated to elevate in the sexual realm those who penetrate over those who receive, and I don't think the LGBTQ community or the wymyn's movement should stand for this. Observe the disrespect inherent in using the term 'hole' to denote each of the orifices in question. Donuts have holes, and Swiss cheese has holes, but mouths, vaginas and anuses are not holes -- one cannot see through them or blow them; in fact, one couldn't blow with a mouth if it were a hole. More distressing is the clear absence of renaming the penis, and I suspect this isn't accidental but evidence that this whole thing is a not-necessarily-subtle but nonetheless-covert strategy on the part of penetratists to assert superiority over receptivists -- because EVERY renaming is of a receptive orifice. And I, for one, will not support such a movement intended to produce dominance for male oppressors and female strap-ons in the bedroom."

[Wink, wink!]

When I'm in Dallas I run into people who believe every looney liberal thing that comes out in the media. It's as if they are taking marching orders. Looking to some interesting conversions once these mindless drones are briefed.

To be honest, I think you've fallen straight into the "hole" as it were. I know you're making fun of it, but in so doing you're just falling into the same trap and perpetuating the problem.

The fundamental problem with this entire mess is that it's all about sex. People are so focussed on sex that they're trying to even change society and language to conform with their sexual obsessions.

And in this response, you completely accept the sexual obsession, and respond to it from a perspective of sexuality. Falling into the trap and arguing within the terms set by the people who started the conversation.

The idea is ludicrous because mouths are for eating and talking, anuses are for pooing, and vaginas are for sex and birthing babies. Sure all can be used for other purposes too. But to try and define all based on sex is not political correctness, but rather mental illness.

There's a time to answer a fool according to his folly, and a time to not answer a fool according to his folly. This is a time when the folly is so severe that the second option is far more appropriate.

Romans 1:22-32 KJV
[22] Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

[23] And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

[24] Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

[25] Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

[26] For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

[27] And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

[28] And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

[29] Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

[30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

[31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

[32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Yep, God was right... again

Well, maybe it's been too long since I worked at the orifice . . .

I have to dislodge my tongue from being firmly implanted in my cheek to ask this very serious question: stipulating without an ounce of reserve that the 'hole' subject is evidence of mental illness, and given that that's a folly so severe that it's time to refrain from answering the folly, wouldn't that point to the likelihood that I was a severe fool for addressing their severe folly? And . . . wouldn't that then beg the question: wouldn't lack of folly have been even better represented by not responding to me?

Oh, whoops! I just can't seem to keep my tongue where it belongs . . .

Is this for real?

Zec, I don't think a person with any common sense could provide a definitive answer to whether these people are "for real," but here's the post that reacted to a release on www.healthline.com:

Healthline says, using the medical term ‘vagina’ is not gender-inclusive language, uses ‘front hole’ instead.

"It's imperative for safe sex guides to become more inclusive of LGBTQIA and nonbinary people," the guide states.

Caldron Pool August 20, 2018

Healthline has claimed health disparities and higher rates of HIV and STIs observed in LGBTQIA communities are due to discrimination in the sex ed world. So, the California based health information provider has adopted the gender-inclusive term “front hole” in place of the medical term, “vagina” in their latest LGBTQIA safe sex guide.

“For the purpose of this guide, we’ll refer to the vagina as the ‘front hole’ instead of solely using the medical term ‘vagina,'” the document explains. “This is gender-inclusive language that’s considerate of the fact that some trans people don’t identify with the labels the medical community attaches to their genitals.”

“For example, some trans and nonbinary-identified people assigned female at birth may enjoy being the receptors of penetrative sex, but experience gender dysphoria when that part of their body is referred to using a word that society and professional communities often associate with femaleness. An alternative that’s becoming increasingly popular in trans and queer communities is front hole.”

The document went on to claim, lack of representation and anti-LGBTQIA bias in standard safe sex guides stigmatizes certain sexual behaviours and identities and is directly related to higher rates of HIV and STIs reported within LGBTQIA communities.

The guide goes on to suggest, “it’s imperative for safe sex guides to become more inclusive of LGBTQIA and nonbinary people and their experiences. This will help address barriers to accessing care and effective educational tools, while simultaneously normalizing and acknowledging the true diversity that exists with regard to gender and sexuality.”

Sorry ladies, the term “vagina” is quickly becoming a bigoted word. As is often the case with transgender ideology, its greatest impact is on women and girls. Men and women are inherently different, and women will pay an especially high price if we continue to pretend otherwise.

According to Wikipedia (consider the source), "Healthline Media, Inc. is a privately owned provider of health information headquartered in San Francisco, CA founded in 2006 and established as a standalone entity in January 2016." They have 105 employees.

LGBTQIA, by the way, stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersexed and Asexual.

Now, if on the other hand, you're asking if I'm for real, there is very little about my original Hole Eek Ow post about which I am for real. I'm not at my wit's end about political correctness (much more amused than anything else), I've never been concerned about the penetrative/receptive dichotomy, and I've always thought the whole "sex-object" discussion to be overblown. My purpose in posting my tongue-in-cheek message was to comment on the current state of language insanity and to do so in a humorous twist-and-turn manner (hoping, of course, that folks solely into twisting and turning in the bedroom [formerly known as twats but now to be identified as frontholes, because the-folks-previously-known-as-a-questionable-and-sometimes-pejorative-term-for-the-former-unspeakable-dead-white-man-created-name-for-the-front-hole was simply too dang ungainly] won't come after me because they feel like they've been derided). On the other hand, I very sincerely do not condemn anyone for having alternative sexual orientations (which, as a polymonogynist [inside joke between ZecAustin and Keith Martin] would make me a hypocrite). I do, though, agree with @FollowingHim that the whole nature of the way these subjects are presented and propagandized to fascistically manage how we talk about them is evidence of mental illness. And I'm saying that with my psychotherapist hat on.

I invoke Poe's law.

Yes, they are that crazy.

You're catching on, @ZecAustin. Very astute of you to refrain from exhibiting the extreme folly of responding to my extreme foolishness!
