Hello everyone!
My husband has been on this site for awhile and as I have gotten to read through some of the posts on here, I am encouraged and impressed with the tone of this forum. It is very respectful and Biblically grounded instead of merely speculative. I have tried to broach the topic of PM here and there among my sisters in Christ and most of the time, once I point out the most obvious Biblical passages that show that PM is not a sin, they simply defer to "conviction of the Spirit in our heart" that it is wrong. I don't take it any farther at that point just because if they can't serious contemplate what the scriptures have to say about it over their own narrow view, then all the talking in the world won't make any difference. God's Word should be the only one they need.
I am not quite sure what I should say for an introduction, so I suppose I will just give a brief description of my life as it is now. I married my master back in 2008 and since that time we have been working on building a family. I have suffered two miscarriages and an abdominal pregnancy, but the Lord has blessed us with a beautiful boy back in January. We don't believe in using birth control, so each time the Lord see fit to open my womb, I submit gladly to it. I love being a new mommy again and wish I had more childbearing years left in me. Alas, I didn't meet my master until recently, and this, too, was all in God's hands. So, we take one day at a time and see what He will do for building our family, in whatever way He sees fit. That might mean He will bring along an other godly woman to help build my husband's house, or it might mean He will just give us one son together and that will be the sum of our family in this generation. I trust Him completely in this since only He can make Good choices. How I wish I had trusted Him when I was much younger so I didn't waste all those years.
Cheers,
Laurie
