Gods protection

We had a nuisance snow storm today of about 4-5” of snow but it fell extremely fast and the roads were a mess. I typically drive several hours a day for work and I was about 75 miles from home when the snow got started. I decided to head home early so as not to risk driving after it got extremely bad. Well I waited too long and on the way home I was rear ended by a tractor trailer. I was stopped in traffic on the interstate because of an accident that happened a few minutes prior and the truck behind me couldn’t get stopped. Thankfuly he was almost stopped and it was fairly minor. My service van will need a new back door and I have a headache but no major injuries and the van is still drivable. I’m thankful for Gods protection because that could have been a lot worse. I could be dead right now had the driver not slowed down as much as he did.

Praising the Lord for his protection!

This must have happened right after we got off the phone!

No it was earlier. We were a bit rushed on the phone otherwise I would have told you about it then...

Praise Yah. I spend lots of time on the road, too.... Lotta crazy out there. Be careful.

I’m glad it wasn’t @steve driving. Lol although I wouldn’t mind meeting him.

I’m glad it wasn’t bad, that is one of my worst fears.

Cross posting? I never heard that before.
I am sure that I used the wrong word, but our posts crossed each other and landed at about the same time.

I’m glad you’re okay. Praise God for that!

Thank God! It's great everything turned out as well as it did, seeing as how it could have been much worse.
On December 31 we got about six inches of snow in about two hours. We are in central Arizona (people in Arizona don't typically know how to drive in snow).
I am part of the fire department in our little town and we ran on a six car pileup, and another ten miles up the road there was a ten car pileup.
I was directing traffic on a corner, and it was making me a little nervous with people coming around the corner way to fast, it's no wonder so many accidents happen.
Prayers that everyone and everything gets back to normal.

Good to hear you're ok.

Glad your ok. One of the things I hated most living up north, besides the cold, was having to drive in the snow and ice. It always seemed the other person never knew how to do it safely.

But, driving now days is bad all over with all the people using their phones while the drive. I can't believe that the insurance companies havin't pushed for phone use laws like they did for seat belt laws. My boss once told me that she watches netflex on her phone while she drives. It's amazing what we live with around us and we think we are safe.

Insurance companies don't push for it because accidents are profitable.

I was always under the impression that the seat belt laws and helmet laws came from insurance companies because the pay out for accidents was way more than the premiums.
