Fall 2014 West coast retreat?

Does anyone know where the location is? We want to plan to go but with a family of 7 and a farm, we need details far in advance. I loved loved loved Idaho so I'm hoping for something similar! :D

How about Reno? It has a hub airport served by American Airlines and Southwest (pretty cheap flights) lots of cheap lodging and can go to Lake Tahoe for addl fun before or after (or use it as an excuse for taking the fam to Reno for those of us who may need to do a bit of creative explaining to our friends). And you guys are there and you could still feed the animals and muck stalls in the AM ;-)

I believe their farm is someplace in WA. Out of range of a daily commute to Reno. *grin*

Reno is not a bad idea (I believe Tara's family is still 'commuting' between Washington and Reno). Ron Higgins is our West Coast rep, and he has been giving this some thought already, but I think northern California in the running. (Ron is not much of a forum poster, but he's "bolts53" - any of you on the West Coast who haven't chatted with him, send him a PM, and give him your phone number - you'll be glad you did!)

Reno would be cheaper for hotels than Sac or Bay Area. We'll consider it. We have been to Vegas for retreats twice already - I guess we could be the CPM group (Casino plural marriage. The upcoming Asian retreat could be in Macau, and Europe could be in Monte Carlo! Hmm... they already say we're aren't 'playing with a full deck', and online poly dating is a regular 'crap shoot'...)

I only wish it wasn't 7-8 months away. But you California guys, I think there may be a one-day get-together happening before then, keep a lookout for that.

Reno isn't a bad idea at all. It's central to California, Oregon, and Idaho. I could help plan it if it was here. Cecil is right though, the farm is in Washington and I am in Reno. :) Lake Tahoe is expensive to stay at but fun for extra activities. I am so excited regardless!

ok Reno it is details to follow in a few weeks ideas call me 623 3401771

My parents married here in Reno
Then I was born and it seemed downhill from there
We never had our share of luck and it wasn't fair
But then a week ago last Thursday
I drove for hours and I never hit one red light
I ate a day-old tuna sandwich and felt all right
Luck was mine

Now I'm one of the lucky
Fortune has a special smile for me
That's the day that my life changed

Theres always the San Diego area?? lol That is where my family of 10 lives. We moved into the area in June (well my sisterwife and our husband did, I had lived here as a child until 3 years ago when I moved to wyoming and then met them.) and our husband has found a job and we are getting used to the routine of things. Still so much unpacking and organizing to do. We moved in with grandparents so 12 in a house is alot. :)
