We have two cats (brother and sister) one male orange and white the other a female typical gray tabby about 6 months old now...I brought home a new puppy (mutt...but has kind of a Husky look to him including the tail) and will set him as my avatar for a while . Needless to say the cats looked at me with the "ok...very funny...when are you taking him back" look...he has not received a very warm welcome...but chases them around all the time with his tail wagging like crazy...cats hissing and growling...ahh such fun...

We have two cockapoos. So altogether I have three dogs. Shasta, the eldest of the cockapoos is 3. He is blond and very excited and lively. He is fearless and up for just about anything. But he doesn't like water and when he gets too excited he piddles uncontrollably. Shadow is the younger of the two cockapoos. He is 2 1/2 and his coat is white with black patches. I didn't know how shy he was when I named him Shadow but now his name fits him. He is afraid of his own shadow and acts like he is my shadow. When meeting new people he likes to hid behind my legs. This dog wants to chase cats and if there is water around, he will be in it. What a character. Someday I am going to take him off the leash and let him chase a cat, just to see what he does if he ever catches one. The Alpha dog is jut that, the alpha. Shasta tries to be the alpha but hubby won't let him.

I adore all of my pets. I would love a cat. Hopefully, if we ever get a house of our own, I will get one.

This is going to sound childish, but I had a dog for thirteen years. I loved that dog. It's been six years since she died, and I haven't been able to bring myself to getting another pet.

Quit complaining...just be thankful that you aren't the one that piddles uncontrollably or is afraid of his own shadow...

I told you this in confidence

Carpet Direct gives volume discounts...but you may want to consider linoleum at this point...

I had 8 chickens till last year. One morning when I went to work I left the kitchen door open so the dogs and cats could go out- I never thought the chickens would come in. The rooster got under the dining room table and went to work crowing. Scared my husband to death. Never made that mistake again!

This is my favorite subject so I couldn't pass up the chance to brag. This is my best guy, Asa, when he was a pup.
