Well I went to service last night, and today. Just finished the breaking the fast meal. Was a lot of fun, though I couldn't follow the Hebrew recitations. What really struck me, during the English portions of the recitation, was how fortunate I am to not simply have to plead for mercy for all my sins throughout the year. Nor beg for my name to be written in the book of life so that this next year would be blessed. My Messiah is come, my atonement made, I am reconciled with my God. I really enjoy celebrating my Jewish heritage because it brings to my mind the glory that is mine through Jesus.
