Been lurking for a while

Hello everyone,

I've been reading some posts on here on and off for a few months, and figured that it would probably be good to start posting here.

I'm single currently. Over the last year I've learned about PM in the bible. My opinion is that starting a marriage from the point of view that PM is biblical, would be useful in helping a marriage be in harmony with biblical principles, since a "big obstacle" will have already been covered and resolved, which would set a precedent for other parts being bible based.

I was LDS, but after some stuff about 2-3 years ago, I stopped believing in it, but was still christian. I greatly enjoy looking into what exactly the bible says, and not just doing thing since it's the way things are currently done.
 
Welcome to BF. I lurched for about a year. Should have seen the looks I got from the people at the public library when they noticed some of the things being posted as they walked by.

Hello and welcome, it will be good to hear your perspective when scriptural themes are considered, I have never had much to do with anyone from a LDS background and would very much like to hear your thoughts and expressions. I have found in my case that sometimes all that is required to seek truth is to keep an open mind and consider things from another perspective. Often we believe the same thing but just express it differently. It is only by listening to others and reasoning on the scriptures that things become clear.Such has been the case with PM.It is a pleasure to have you hear with us.
