So, despite my "coming out" as a believer in PM, and many of my friends and family members now being aware of my views, I never stood up in the middle of a meeting at my Messianic Community on Shabbat and said, "Hey guys, I'm into PM!"
Mainly I haven't done that because I don't think that it would be the wisest approach, and could end up sparking a lot of issues between members who may be at different levels of Biblical study and Spiritual maturity... not to mention the fact that I sincerely believe that much as some people aren't ready for Monogamy, there're those who aren't quite ready for the world of PM, and as so many here could probably sadly testify that sometimes people who get the idea of PM into their heads before they're ready for it can go into a situation with all the wrong motivations, and a lot of people can get hurt along the way...

Anyway, that's beside the point.

So, the leaders of my community have expressed their belief that I should share with the community, and take on some responsibilities in the area of teaching sometimes during our meetings. Well, I figured that I had better give them fair notice of what I believe. So, I spoke with the main leader yesterday. When I explained to him my views, he said he has no problems with that and actually sees it the same way that I do.
So, just thought I'd share that with everybody, because it was really great not to be excommunicated or something hectic like that! ( And they still want me to help teach )

Praise God for opening this door for you.I have been quieted in some settings, but still have the chance to preach the Gospel in the jail ministry here locally. I am happier proclaiming the Gospel and writing on my blog for those who still wish to hear what the Lord gives me to say. May you teach with grace and edify those who hear, to the glory of God in all things.

Good news! Good news!

I am glad to hear that. Great testimony, and a great way to both stand up for your beliefs and to show you care about the authority of your local fellowship.

Blessings
