These are dangerous waters! I come across these things occasionally, being in healthcare. Have you heard of CRSPR? It's a gene editing tool. It's been successfully used to turn on and off certain genes in children, while still in the womb. However, even in that article (I'll have to find it) they say they don't know the long term affects of it. We need to abandon such ungodly and horrific measures! We are playing with something YHVH NEVER meant for us to touch.

So many of the "disease" that they are trying to "defeat" can easily be prevented if people would be smart with what they put on the end of the fork. However, even some "genetic" disorders can be greatly helped with proper nutrition/vitamin therapy and diet.
 
Didn't Michael J. Fox testify in front of Congress that prostate cells from Spanish-engineered, Chinese-manufactured monkey chimeras would without a doubt produce a cure for Parkinson's Disease?
 
This is one of the very strong reasons why I do not believe that we have centuries, or even very many decades left.

And it's a strong argument. But history also doesn't run in a straight line. After the fall of Rome, we didn't surpass them technologically again until the late 19th to early 21st century (depending on the field).

True, but it will take a world-wide event to halt the technology at this point.

Even Jeff E had a ranch where, with the help of scientists from a major university, he was messing with designer offspring.

Yes, if all of life was reduced to the struggle to survive technology would be abandoned in the weeds.
But if our lifestyles are merely reduced, technology will be embraced as our savior.
 
Multiple possible scenarios. ... best to cozy up to the Messiah and learn to hear His voice.... and, learn headship and walk in His ways. He has a history of protecting His righteous seed... Noah, Avraham, David, Daniel, etc....

This could do it. But there are other more run of the mill causes...
  • Islam played a big role in the destruction of the Roman empire; and it is now ascendant globally thanks to the free traders and satanists.
  • The Black Death also played a part. Modern medicine is hitting the end of it's rope now on several fronts. And there are lots of indications that biotech will unleash some horrific things on the population.
  • Shrinking trade. All it really takes to reduce technological capability is significantly reduce trade. If (when) the US falls a major superpower, the resultant squabbling between nations could shut down the global free flow of trade. Significant reduction of demand could also make it to uneconomic to keep up current technological levels; hamstringing future advances. A few major powers would likely maintain their status, but much of the world is dependent on global trade for a significant fraction of their food.
 
@steve I haven't been paying much attention to this Epstein thing because it is old news to me. Fake News is reporting this straight as if it's suddenly new news and they haven't been dismissing every discussion of his pedophilia for the last 11+ years.

But it is germane to this subject. Most recent sources seem to be quoting this. So he was into eugenics, transhumanism, population control, spreading his seed to all humanity, various other unspecified crackpot ideas. Little of this is surprising, it's long been said the satanists are into controlling pure bloodlines. But the reporting mostly seems to be from interviews with scientists who weren't brought into the fold; so we don't know what he actually accomplished. The people involved with that won't talk, due to what it takes to get involved.

The speed with which some of these things is happening puts me into the decades team (several, though) and not centuries.

I do believe that the continual demise of the US will be the determination of this.
 
I was in the couple decades arena myself until I started noticing and factoring in the cataclysmic imminent signs preceding his return.

Things could be going very well, politically and socially and economically, but the stars falling from heaven to earth like a fig tree when its shaken by a mighty wind will irrevocably wreck somebody’s year.

1). As @rockfox said, all we know is what they allow us to know, and
2). The speed at which this kind of thing advances doubles in increasingly shorter and shorter time periods.

I do believe that the US is experiencing a temporary stay of execution, but the evil is only being dammed up, not dissipated. The enemy owns too many hearts at this point.
We are no longer a Christian nation and even Christianity is ceasing to be Christian.

Agreed, and in one sense scares the hell out of me, in another emboldens me....

As with any athletic event, we must press harder as the clock runs out. The great part is knowing that we win!
