How he responds to this ridiculous controversy Biden has dropped on him at the last minute will be very informative in my mind as to how we can expect him to approach many matters.

This is being discussed. A pardon is when the government forgives a person for a crime of which they have been charged or convicted in a court of law.

I’m going to policing this discussion pretty heavily. There are simply two different perceptions of reality here and neither side is going to convince the other.

I will say this; @Maia there absolutely was an EV mandate. It hadn’t kicked in fully yet but it was draconian and it was coming.

And I wouldn’t believe one thing China has to say about itself. EVs are never going to be dominant in any market because they would have to be mandated, with means environmentalists would have to be in power and they would never allow the mining needed to electrify even a small nation’s vehicles, let alone the tens of millions of automobiles it would take to change America over.

Forge rare earth metals, the sheer volume of copper, silver, zinc and lead necessary would require mining to increase exponentially. It’s just not possible.
